چکیده
The accurate prediction of the thermomechanical properties newly developed polymer composites is important in determination their possible areas application. In this study, a 3D model representative volume element (RVE) with different wood flour weight ratios (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 %) was used to develop composites. Micromechanical material modelling software (Digimat) conjunction finite analysis (Abaqus) determine (modulus elasticity, Poisson’s ratio, thermal conductivity, density, hardness). hardness, tensile strength modulus elasticity increase an wt.% flour, while Poisson conductivity density decrease flour. Also, predicted using micromechanical follow same trend as those found literature.

One of the most famous methods to predict the stiffness of short fiber composites is micromechanical modeling. In this study, a Representative Volume Element (RVE) of a beech wood flour natural composite has been designed and the orientation averaging approach has been utilized to predict its stiffness tensor. The novelty of this work is in finding the proper fiber orientation distribution func...

This study investigated weathering performance of an HDPE wood plastic composite reinforced with extracted or delignified wood flour (WF). The wood flour was pre-extracted with three different solvents, toluene/ethanol (TE), acetone/water (AW), and hot water (HW), or sodium chlorite/acetic acid. The spectral properties of the composites before and after artificial weathering under accelerated c...
